1. Definitions
1.1. All the coffee is sold only as whole beans and the prices on the website include VAT and delivery, unless otherwise stated. All prices are in DKK (Danish Kroner).
1.2 Cafera ApS is the only importer that buys and re-sells the coffee, and Cafera ApS is then the one carrying out direct trading with the suppliers.
1.3. Cafera ApS is the only importer and therefore responsible for payment of told, custom clearance, quality-control, and coordination of transport.
1.4. When customers buy coffee, they buy the coffee from Cafera ApS.
1.5. We reserve the right to cancel orders without subject to notice on account to mistakes, technical errors, changes in VAT and taxes, and for the producer to report being sold out and force majeure.
2. Campaigns
2.1. When a coffee purchase campaign is open for any of the offered coffees it is termed "campaign". A campaign is a period when customers can order coffee that runs approximately for 14 days from beginning-to-end. A minimum of 12 kg of coffee per campaign must be ordered before Cafera ApS imports the coffee. If 12 kg of coffee have not been ordered when there are 3 days left to the end of the campaign, it will automatically be extended by 7 days.
2.2. When a customer decides to buy any coffee, (i) the customer will receive the 1st e-mail confirming the "placement" of the order. Yet, the order will only take place when (ii) the customer receives a 2nd e-mail with the order "confirmation" stating that the campaign was successfully closed and that the coffee will be imported.
2.3. Campaigns that end on public holidays (Easter, Great Prayer Day, Ascension Day, Christmas, etc.) will be extended to the next weekday.
3. Payment
3.1. Cafera ApS accepts the following payment methods: VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, ApplePay, GooglePay and MobilePay.
3.2. The payment will be deducted from your payment method only after the coffee has been imported to Denmark and sent to your delivery address.
3.3. The listed prices on the website are in DKK and include Danish VAT as well as delivery.
4. Delivery
4.1. Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday through DAO. If you are not at home, your purchase will be delivered to the nearest parcel shop.
4.2. Our estimated delivery time is typically within 14 days after the campaign has been successfully closed. However, the delivery times may be influenced by other external conditions that we cannot control. We therefore not guarantee the exact delivery times and we do not take responsibility for any delays. Please also note that 2 or more products ordered from the same producer may be delivered days apart - this is completely normal.
4.3. Campaigns import status can be followed through our website, under "Tracking" on our main page.
4.4. After a campaign has been imported to Denmark, and has been shipped to your address, a shipping confirmation from our carriers (incl. tracking number and link) will be sent to the email address provided on the order.
5. Risk
5.1. The risk for the product passes to you as a customer when it is in your possession (cf. 73 of the Danish Købelov). The transfer of risk is thereby no longer our responsibility.
6. Return Policy
6.1. Food items (coffee) are non-refundable under Danish law.
6.2. As a customer, you must notify us that you want to return an item, which must occur within 14 days after the actual delivery has taken place.
6.3. For a full refund, the products must be intact, unopened, and in original packaging. If the product does not live up to these conditions, we will offer only a partial refund.
6.4. If your package is delivered to a parcel shop and you do not pick your package up at the agreed place of delivery, or within the time frame provided by the carrier, you do not have a right to a refund.
6.5. Coffee is categorized as a food product, and the provisions of the Fødevareloven apply.
6.6. You do not have the opportunity to cancel the purchase if the campaign has been successfully closed.
6.7. As a company, we are only obliged to repay the purchase price to our customers if you as a customer have explicitly informed us that you have regretted the purchase and want a refund. 7. Privacy Policy
7.1. In order for you to purchase products on our webshop, we need the following information: name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. We register your personal data for the purpose of delivering your products. Your information is not sold to third parties and it is handled according to to our Privacy Policy.
