Hidardo Hernández is a passionate, hardworking fourth-generation coffee farmer. He co-founded Cafesmo and owns a specialty coffee shop with his girlfriend in Santa Rosa de Copán, where they serve coffee from their farm and fine Honduran cocoa. Hidardo is dedicated to perfecting his coffee production, experimenting with new varieties and fermentation methods. He and his mother own 3.5 hectares of land, growing various coffee varieties and providing shade with diverse trees.
